19 April 2015 was my first time to Japan. Started from one of my colleagues offered me a very cheap ticket as he need to cancelled his flight due to some reason. It was mid spring where we can still spot some part of Tokyo with sakura. The return flight to/from Narita Tokyo. My 6 days itinerary covered Tokyo, Kyoto and Kawaguchiko.   Getting Aroung Japan: Travel around Japan can be easily assessed by public transportation. Travel around city can be assessed by JR Train and Willer bus. Depends on the number of days and number of cities for the whole trip. If you travel to more than 2 cities, then JR pass is highly recommended. Midnight bus also applicable for some city at Willer bus website. Internet Connection: Wifi rental I rented a pupuru wifi cost around SGD 5 per day and share for 2 people. The wifi can be collected in the airport or it can be delivered to our hotel in Japan. By the end of the trip, we need to return the wifi modem by putting it in a post box wh

Taiwan Trip: Cingjing Farm清境農場

In Autumn 2015, we visited Cingjing from Taipei and stay 1 night at Cingjing. Then continue to Sun Moon Lake by bus from Cingjing. Blog for Sun Moon Lake will be posting soon. Getting to Cingjing: By Bus: Take OK Bus for around 4 hours to Cingjing from 3rd East Gate Taipei Main Station. The bus ticket can be purchased online at OK Bus website. The bus will alight at your hotel at Cingjing. But at that time, due our hotel was quite far from Cingjing (around 20 minutes drive), so we alight at Cingjing Tourist Centre and put our luggage there. Getting around Cingjing: By car: This is the best option to travel around Cingjing, to save the bus waiting time. By public transportation: I choose this option, although the bus is limited but there are plenty of taxis around. We divided the taxi cost to 4 people, so it is quite cheap. Small Swiss Garden Nothing much in this small garden. I think 30 minutes are enough for picture taking. Entrance fee was NTD 120 Cart

There is some stalls selling local food, so we had our lunch before heading to the waterfall.   Arriving the Shifen Waterfall. Please prepare an umbrella or you will get wet. Shifen Old Street 十分老街 Shifen Old Street is a famous spot for tourist to experience the sky lantern in the railway.  The sky lantern cost about NTD 100. A calli
